PLAYOFFS GAME 9 vs. The Penguins
THE END.
Saturday was the last game for the Sharks. We took to the
ice short handed again with 2 lines. The first didn’t quite go as planned as
the Penguins took a 6-0 lead. Even with a monumental task ahead of them, the
Sharks played possibly the best team game of the season. The passing was
outstanding and the moral on the bench was even better. <st1:ST1:CITY w:st="on"><st1:ST1:PLACE w:st="on">Logan was able to find the back of the net
twice on one shift in the 3rd on a passes from Kalib. Kalib would go
on to close out the scoring for the Sharks on a pass from Zach and the final
score was 9-3. The Sharks recognized two players today for being at each and
every game. It’s a real difficult task to avoid illness, scheduling conflicts,
vacations and all sorts of other reasons. It’s a testament to dedication by
both player and parent so congratulations to Lydia Houle and Gabe Legue for
showing up ready to go every week.
At the end of the day, I was extremely proud of this team
and wouldn’t have changed a thing. Our parents were awesome and our kids were a
joy to be around. I think everyone learned something about this game and I
think everyone has developed a more complete game. I hope to see all of you
next year and to Carson, Gabe, and Colin good luck in Atom.
Until next season,
See you at the Rink
