PEEWEE AE COBRAS ADVANCE TO NEXT ROUND OF OMHA PLAYDOWNS
The boys played an absolutely great game against Erie Northshore Tuesday night in Tilbury.
A one game, winner moves on, tiebreaker. After a well played, scoreless, first period and a half, Brendan Bellan put the Cobras on the board at 7:54 of the second. Assists went to Logan Jamieson and Ryley Hammond. 14 seconds later, Brett Graves put the Cobras up by 2, burying a nice pass from brother Coles Graves. Assisting also was Brydon Martin. Erie pulled within one on a goalmouth scramble with 1:46 left in the second. That's as close as it would get as Hammond scored early in the third assisted by Bellan and Jamieson. Erie would get a 5 on 3 powerplay late in the third but the boys did a great job to kill it off. Jamie Turcotte had a great game in the Cobra net.
