The Kent Minor Midget AA Cobras went 2-0 to begin Bluewater league playoffs this weekend.

Minor Midget AA Cobras began Bluewater league playoff action this past weekend
with a 3- 2 win over Tecumseh Shoreline. Goals were scored by William Tetzlaff
and Austin Bentley with Bentley, Tetzlaff and Nolan VandenBoorn earning assists.
VandenBoorn notched the game winner while Nate Whittall picked up the assist.
The winning goalie was Tyler Hiller.
The
Kent Minor Midget AA Cobras beat Erie North shore 12-0 on Sunday. Brody
VanDongen earned a hat trick and one assist. Tetzlaff pocketed two goals while
Brock
Daugherty, Alex Nauta, Lucas Little, Matt Balkwill, Mitch Rainbird, Vandenboorn
and Whittall picked up a goal each<span xstyle="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Arial','sans-serif';

Whittal ,VandenBoorn and Little earned 5, 4 and 3 assists respectively. Tetzlaff
picked up 2 assists while, Nate Sabourin, Jamie Faubert , Daugherty and Bentley
contributed one assist each. KJ Teron earned the shut out. The Cobras play
LaSalle and Belle River next weekend.
