Leafs Learn 3 Lessons in Loss to Bruins
The Leafs and Bruins met today in what should have been a close game.  Each and every game should to be a learning experience and the Leafs learned 3 things today.

Down by one early in the first period the leafs tied the score when Dakota set Sawyer up with a nice pass sending him in alone on the Bruins goalie.  Near the end of the first the Bruins scored again making it 2-1 going into the second period.  The second period was well played by both teams.  The Leafs had many chances to score but the Bruins Goalie was hot.  She turned aside three Leafs breakaways and a couple of other scramble plays.  The Bruins picked up another goal making it 3-1 going into the third period.

The wheels fell off the Leafs wagon for most of the third period.  The Bruins scored 5 unanswered goals making it 8-1 before the Leafs finally answered.  George passed the puck up the boards to Tyler who went in alone and beat the Bruins goalie with a well placed shot.  Final score 8-2 Bruins.  A very bright spot for the Leafs today was the strong play by Elliott who centered a newly formed line earning him the game MVP.

So what are the 3 Lessons the Leafs Learned today?

1, We are a much better team when Abby is in the Line up.
2, Sawyer should try playing a couple games at forward.
3, Owen is never playing goalie again (his words not mine, I think he played pretty good for his first time)
