Game One Round Two Leafs and Flyers Tie
The Leafs and Flyers met today in game one of the second round.
Sawyer got things rolling early in the first for the Leafs on a nice breakaway goal beating the Flyers goalie just above the glove. The first period was close with both goalies making some spectacular saves. Tyler found a way to score late in the first period making it 2-0 Leafs on a good pass from Mitchell.
The Flyers got one back early in the second making it 2-1 Leafs. The second was even tighter than the first, both goalies turned aside many chances from both teams.
Mitchell scored early in the third on a nice shot with the assist going to George. The Leafs were up 3-1 with two minutes left in the game when the Flyers got one. The Flyers scored another one twenty seconds later making in 3-3. George had a great rush with only seconds left in the game that almost beat the Flyers goalie. The game ended 3-3. Game MVP for the Leafs went to Kayden for his great play in net.
A great game to watch with both teams working hard and both goalies playing great.
