Game 12 vs Flyers
Today the Rangers played the flyers in a barnburner.

This was a great game from the opening face-off.  Fast paced and entertaining.
The Flyers have a very strong goalie, so the Rangers knew they were going to have to create lots of scoring chances.

Game notes:
  • Kassidy Teare played a solid game today and faced 18 tough shots.  She kept the rangers in the game by stopping 2 or 3 breakaways.  Kassidy has become a strong goalie for the rangers and gives us a chance to win every game.
  • Serenity Primeau continues to improve and played another great game.  Serenity is skating harder and handling the puck much more.  She kept up with the play and did a solid job.
  • Aiden Venhuizen played fantastic.  Aiden is the strongest 2 way forward, possibly in the league.  Aiden skates hard and does whatever the coaches ask of him.
  • Asher Wygiera played a great game as well.  Asher, in my opinion, put in his best effort today and kept up with the play.  Asher skated hard to join rushes and made several good defensive plays.  Awesome job buddy!
  • Lucas Kirchner played hard and hustled all game.  He plays tough and very rarely gives up.  Its hard to believe that he is an under-ager on this team.
  • Another under-ager, Victor continues to carry the puck more and is taking advantage of his break away speed.  Victor is becoming strong as a forward every game and has worked very hard to do so.  Great job Victor…
  • Landyn Johnson made some strides today.  He played hard and never gave up on the ice. Keep working hard Landyn.
  • Wiiliem Seguin played another outstanding game.  He is quickly earning the nickname "the Rocket."  Williem and Kaleb played strong off the draws and produced several great scoring chances.
  • Kaleb Wilson played another great game a centre anchor.  Kaleb is playing hard off draws, coming back and playing defence and producing scoring chances.  Awesome job Kaleb.
  • Memphis Peatson was a rock on the blue line today.  Memphis played very defensive and made some excellent break out passes.  Memphis continues to develop on defence and is quickly becoming one of the stronger defenceman in the league.  Awesome job Memphis!
  • Aiden "Sobey," Solway also continues to play like he is 6"4, 220 pounds.  Aiden is also a solid and reliable defenceman.
  • Owen tried hard every shift and is becoming more and more involved in the play.  He is becoming more confident and made some great defensive plays in our own end.  Owen has developed nicely and will continue to develop as he builds his confidence.  Great job Owen.
  • Ethan Van der Meersch played like a stud, again…  He is rushing more and making excellent passes.  Ethan made the pass of the year on a great outlet pass to Williem, who made a great centre ice pass to Kaleb, who put it away.  What a beautiful play.  Awesome work E-man.
  • Carter continues to be reliable on the blue line.  He is a strong forward and defenceman and tries hard no matter what.  Carter made some solid plays to keep the play alive in the offensive zone and cleared the puck in our own zone well.
  • Devon Wilson worked hard all game and continues to build on his confidence.  Awesome work Devon.
  • Noah Wilson played one the best games he has played all year.  He made great passes and used his speed in the defensive zone.  Great work Noah.

Overall, the Rangers really came together and worked hard against a strong Flyers team.  Your hard work in practice is certainly paying off.  Keep it up Rangers.

Points.
