Round 2 Game 2…TICKET PUNCHED!
It was the last hurdle to the Championship game and the Sharks played to perfection today. Brady became the only goalie in the 2013-14 Novice season to post a shutout in the 4-0 Sharks win.
The Shutout would not have been possible without the dynamic defense provided by Carter, Xavier, Max and Lydia. The forwards played their position to perfection as well. Goals came from every line. The scoring was opened by Kalib at 8:30 of the second. Then Jacob who was asked to leave his top line wing position to play center scored with six and a half to go in period 2. His goal was assisted by Lydia. The Third goal came from Zach and was assisted by Colin at 9.37 of the third. Kalib ended the scoring with about a minute to go in the game assisted by Xavier. Taya had a big game on her side of the ice today and was instrumental in stopping the Canadiens before they could get anything going. Evan looked like a man on fire today and seems to have found his passion. Ephram had some real good takeaways and set up some real close scoring chances. Richard made some huge defensive plays for us today as well.
Our game next week is going to be a warm up to the Championship game against the Rangers at 2:15pm.
