Nov 16th Game vs Team Orange
Hi parents and fans of Atom Black!
We're back with some past games info.
It's been a tough few weeks in terms of wins and losses, but we've seen our team really come together and work hard as a unit.
It certainly was a fast-paced game with lots of action!
The action started early with Aiden's goal at 10:53 and then Gabe added a second goal at 7:19 remaining.
We were off to a great start with chances at both ends. Orange then got their first goal at 2:52 left in the opener.
At 9:55 of Period 2, the opposition tied it at 2, and then took the lead on a PP goal.
Next, at 3:09, Gabe tied the game with a great shot up high on the opposing net-minder!
The game continued to go back and forth as Orange took the lead again at 1:07.
Period 3 saw our boys continue to work hard and keep pushing back against the opposition!
At 12:12, Orange opened up the lead by another goal on a sharp angled shot, but Dom made put us back in the game at 6:01! Aiden then put in another at 3:06 and we had the opposition on their heals!
We pulled the goalie in one final push for a tie, but couldn't capitalize. Gabe was named Player of the Game!
This was a great game for our team! We worked hard as a team, didn't give up when we were down and had a lot of fun learning the great game of hockey!
