EXCITING START TO PLAYOFFS
We executed a full team effort for all three periods in our 1st playoff game. Goals were scored by ELI JOBIN (1G) and AIDEN BATES (1G) and JAKE LEGUE (2G,1A) netted 2 and added an assist on Aiden's goal.

On Friday we all participated in our Father vs Son game and had a lot of fun!!  Thanks to all those who participated and hope you all enjoyed yourselves.

The game we played this Saturday vs Red was exhaustingly exciting. We started the game very flat and weren't winning the battles for the puck, which allowed Red to jump to an early lead. In the 2nd period we looked much quicker and started creating chances in their end and drew a penalty. With some great puck movement by JAKE LEGUE, BREYDEN LUMLEY (1G,2A) and BRAYDEN CHARBONNEAU (1G), we potted a power play goal! Jake won a battle for the puck passing it up to Lumley who slid it in front to a wide open Charbonneau who shot it past their goalie. In the 2nd and start of the 3rd period CARSON HATHAWAY was unbeatable holding us in their with some amazing saves. Mid way through the 3rd Red managed to slide one past Carson making the score 3-1. We quickly answered that goal with one of our own on a pass from AIDEN BATES (1G, 1A) to LUMLEY.  As we hemmed them into their end we had lots of chances until the puck managed to sneak out of their zone to one of their players who made a perfect shot to make the score 4-2. With just under 2 mins remaining in the game we pulled our goalie and sent Aiden on the ice as the extra man. Hard work by all the forwards forced them deep in their end of the rink and Lumley slid a hard pass across the goal crease which found a streaking Aiden's stick which he redirected into the empty side of the net. With our net still empty and extra skater on the ice we pressed and had a few more chances until a questionable call brought a face off deep into our end of the ice. As time ticked down we ended the game with a 4-3 loss.  Great effort boys and lets keep up the hard work!!
