Hard fought battle
The boys played the last round robin playoff game Saturday morning against a hungry yellow team. The boys jumped out to a quick 4 goal lead in the first. The rest of the game was a different story. Team yellow just kept chipping away at the lead until a few close calls with seconds to go in the game. Team black held on to the one goal win. Yellow was the best team on the ice today showing heart and hustle. Yellows goalie was unreal for his team. Derek Walker again made the big saves when we needed them. Team scoring was led by Dom St Amand and Aiden Venhuizen with 2 points each. Owen Fisher, Jacob Fenn, Ethan Crow, Aidan Davidson and Kaleb Wilson all chipped in with a point each. Player of the game honours went to Derek Walker.
