Game 13 vs White: Structure and poise to end the regular season
The last game of the regular season ended with a bang,
everyone played an extremely structured game. No one stopped skating and we
limited the White offence much like we did last week to Black.
There was a point in the third period where we seemed to lose focus, however like the group of outstanding hockey players you are you put the train back on the rails and closed the door.
Goals this week were spread all around on both sides as no one player scored more than 1 goal. For us it was Tyler, Hunter, Williem, Adam, Gordo, and Christian. A lot of focus has to be placed on the assists, sadly the referees didn’t pick up on many of them but I was impressed to see the chemistry every shift had. I have official assists going to Jax, Kalib and Williem, unofficially I know there were many others involved.
The Golden Jersey this week went to Adam Brown who showed an outstanding level of intensity at practice on Friday and was rewarded with his first goal this season today.
Our next game is Game 1 of the playoffs and we will be playing our practice partners the AtoMc Predators. Puck drop is at 9:20 at historic Memorial Arena. Until then..
