A nice win
The boys came out flying after a hard practice the night before. They dominated for the first 2 periods building up a 5-1 lead before the F-150's built a little comeback before the Lincolns finally put them away for good.
Alex "Ding" Strevel started the scoring ringing a wrist shot off the post and in. Nolan Thibert the game star had his first 2 goals on the season with nice passes from Strevel and Tyler Pink. Gabe Knotek had 2 very nice goals one being the last goal on a breakaway deeking out the goalie. Clarke Denomy had a boomer from the point which had eyes and found the back of the net. Josh "The One" Storey proved once again he is the BEST GOALIE in the league with his solid play. Tyler Pink had some nice passes while playing defense and ended up with 3 assist. Keep up the nice work Tyler. You found your spot.
The team was glad to see Simon who came to cheer on the fellas and it was nice to see him since he has been on the IR with a broken hand. We look forward to his return as he brings hustle and leadership to our team.
