We are a couple of days away from our fun hockey weekend in Whitby here are some important details...
Friday
When you arrive at the Delta Hotel on Kennedy Rd in Toronto East we don't want you to be surprised. We just got an email from them today that several floors of the hotel have been closed because of a flood. This has forced them to move several teams to rooms with King size beds and a cot(s) instead of two double beds. For this inconvenience they have lowered the price from $139 to $99 per night. We hope all of you will be able to adjust to this change and prepare yourselves for this.
Our first game is at 6pm on rink#5 at the complex. Please note the main entrance of the complex is closed for renovations so a temporary entrance is being used by Zingers Restaurant off of Victoria Street East.
After the game a team photo is scheduled at 7:15pm at the complex. No equipment is needed for the picture, we will be wearing our team jersey, hockey gloves and sticks only!
** IF YOUR ATTENDING STRAIGHT FROM HOME TO THE GAME DON'T FORGET TO LEAVE EARLY DUE TO CRAZY TORONTO TRAFFIC**
Saturday
Our first game is at 2:15pm on rink#4. Following the game we have a team reservation at Lone Stars restaurant located at 75 Consumers Drive in Whitby at 4pm. The purpose for the dinner is to address the team regarding this years accomplishments.
The second and final game of the day will then be at 7pm on rink#5.
Back at the hotel we hope to have more fun and late night pizza for the hungry players around the pool.
