Our Weekend in Whitby
Wow what a great weekend we had - swimming, mini sticks, pizza party and oh ya some hockey...
Black Attack traveled to Whitby this weekend to play in the Pizza Pizza Hockey Festival. They stood tall going up against the toughest competition they've seen all year! The games were fast paced and the kids dug in playing some of the best hockey we have seen them play.
Scoring came from every line with Emma, Ethan Savard, Ethan Sasson, Dylan, and Luc all finding the back of the net.
The defence was solid each and every game, moving the puck, playing tough and making great decisions. Then there was Brayden who was a 'WALL" all weekend, and in the final game faced 27 shots!!!
We also handed out our team awards at the end of the festival. Congratulations to every one of you on the season you have had. The following Esso medals were awarded:
Most Improved: Cam Arnel
Most Dedicated: Dylan Hoekstra
Most Sportsman Like: Brady Cowell
Golden Jersey: Brayden Roberts
After the very slow start to our season with a 0-10 record the kids never gave up, they've worked hard in practice to turn it around and now play in the day of Champs April 4th. We are all so proud of you!
