After 5 Games
A quick update after our first 5 games.
The season began few weeks ago and is in full swing. Here is a quick update on the progress of our team development.
Goaltending.
Both Noah Coatsworth(weapon) and Jackson have played very well. Both have been tested and both have responded well. Both have made huge saves when we needed them to and have developed nicely over the last few weeks.
Defence.
All defenceman have played well. All have stepped up. Defence are learning to keep the puck in the offensive zone and are playing in the defensive zone well. They are learning how to position themselves and how to get the puck safely out of our end. Kudos to Emma, Sobey, Jaret, Lane, JP, Charlie and Memphis.
Defence have also pitched in on the scoreboard!!!
Forwards.
Forwards have done a fantastic job putting points on the board. In 5 games, we have scored 32 goals. Of those 32, our team captain, Austin, has contributed his fair share. A combination of smooth and fast skating has made our offence productive. Next area of opportunity is to continue learning how to move the puck out of our zone while spreading out and using the whole ice surface. Players need to keep believing in themselves as they all have amazing potential, eh George!!!
Way to go Austin(Showtime), Noah(Nator), George, Kaleb(Goobs), Sawyer (Ritchio), Jacob (Waterbug), Max, Aiden (Fluffy), Mitchell, and Williem (Luigi).
Overall, everyone has done a fantastic job. Speaking on behalf of the entire coaching staff, we are very pleased and even more proud of our team.
