The KMHA Major Peewees ended the regular Bluewater season on a disappointing 2 game slide but remain in sole possession of second place with a record of 17-4-3.
The Cobras were defeated on Saturday by the Windsor Spitfires in the final Bluewater game of the year. In another close game between these clubs both teams traded many scoring chances but the Spitfires prevailed 3-1. This sets up a great battle in the OMHA playdown semi-final series involving these two teams. The lone Cobra goal was scored by Austin Kozlof with assists going to Zach Mackinlay-Hultgren and Notah Hopkins.
The Bluewater playoff meeting is set for Tuesday January 5th to finalize structure and begin scheduling games. We must be prepared to start our 6 point series with Windsor this coming weekend.
