Cobras Split Bluewater Playoff Games
This past weekend the Major Peewee Cobras had a victory over Essex 4-0 on the road but fell to the Windsor Jr. Spitfires 3-1 in Tilbury.

On Saturday in Essex, Connor O'Donohue shut out everything the Ravens could shoot at him.  The line of Zach Mckinlay-Hultgren, Adam Ross and Aidan Fitzmorris picked up 3 of the team's goals -  Zach G(2) A(1), Adam G(1) A(1), Aidan A(1). Other team scoring came from Jeffrey Carey G(1), Austin Kozlof A(1), Martin Boughner A(1), and Nathan Brown A(1).

On Sunday in Tilbury, the team ran into a hot goalie that shut down the Cobra offense.  Time after time the Windsor netminder turned away golden scoring opportunities throughout the game.  The Spitfires added an empty net goal late to beat the Cobras 3-1.  Logan Miller played a strong game in net too but was a victim of too many missed chances. The lone Cobra goal was scored by Jeffrey Carey on passes from Martin Boughner and Quinn Shoemaker.

The team has 2 games remaining in Bluewater playoff play against Belle River and Lasalle.  A top 4 finish will create a semi-final matchup for the April 2nd Day of Champs in Belle River.
