Great Game
After a tough loss to Southpoint and a good practice, we returned to action against a good Dresden team, that had only lost 2 game all year. The first period was a hard fought period were we came out strong but just couldn't seem to get a goal. Dresden had there chances to open the scoring many time, but Danny stood his ground and made some great saves to hold us in. During the intermission, we told the team to stay with the plan and good things would happen. 5 min into the period Beau scored a great goal on an assist from Carson D. 45 seconds later JJ scored a goal on some great passing from Beau and Braiden. 5 minuets later Braiden score a great one timer on a pass George, Devon had the other assist. After 2 period we were up 3-0. The coaching staff asked the team to finish the game hard and not let up. 2 minuets into the 3rd Zach scored a goal from Beau. 10 minutes we had a minor mix up at our bench, resulting in us take a 2 many men penalty. I ask the players on the ice to stay relaxed and just get the puck out, nothing fancy. We killed the penalty with Dresden. 13 minuets into the period Dresden took a penalty of there own. I told the team to make that penalty hurt. 45 seconds after taking the penalty, JJ scored his second goal with assist going to Braiden and Carson M. From there we locked the game down and won 5-0. Was a great team effort
