Bluewater Season
Congratulations to the kids on a winning season! We finished our first season with a 9-4 record in the Bluewater League. The players should be proud of their development this year.
From where they started, to where they are now is truly impressive. They put in all the hard work, time and devotion this year. From the 4v4 days and then getting thrown right into the real game of hockey, they were up to the task and they did it with a smile.
A big thank you to the staff as well. Lots of planning, brainstorming, extra ice and just plain hard work. So thanks to Elicia, Jason and Kelvin for helping to captain this ship. What you see on the ice is just the tip of the iceberg for what it takes to run a AA hockey team. Also a big thank you to our helpers at practice! It makes a huge difference having the extra help out there.
Our goal at the start of the year was to finish with 18 improved hockey players. The kids nailed it beyond a doubt.
We get to finish this journey with two fun tournaments. We are looking forward to it and I know the kids are too!
