Absolutely no parents, or coaches
will be allowed on the ice this year to take pictures without helmets. We
had a very serious incident last year and we are taking measures to make sure
the players and parents are safer this year.
Players will be allowed to temporarily
remove their helmets when they are getting their awards, however, they are not
to remove their helmets until their name is called and they are on their way up
to get it.
Parents will be asked to gather at the benches to take pictures this year.
Players will be allowed to remove their helmets for a team picture (By the benches so parents can take the picture). There will be a posting going up on the website...but I wanted to get an advance notice out.
In summary:
No parents or coaches will be standing on the ice for pictures. The kids will pose in front of the bench for pictures.
Kids will be able to remove their helmets, temporarily, for awards presentation and pictures...but will be required to put it back on when they are going back out on the blueline.
Kids will be allowed to pose for a team picture with no helmets, in front of the benches only.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
