Canadiens vs Bruins
Today was the official start of the season as the Canadiens edged the Bruins 3-1. Both teams played extremely well. Alex opened the scoring in the 1st with a sweet wrister and Brandon added another in the second with some slick manouvering to beat the Bruins defense and put it in the back of the net. The Bruins came within 1 goal in the 3rd when Jack put it 5-hole in the Canadiens net. But a gritty take away by Jonathon in front of the Bruins net led to a feed to Brandon for his 2nd of the game which sealed the victory. Goaltender Brysen Perry faced 16 shots with confident rebound control to make 15 saves for an impressive .938 save percentage to notch his first win. The Canadiens win today was accompanied by sweet plays from forwards Brady, Justin, Sean, Griffin, Devon, Hestyn and mason followed up by shutdown defensive plays courtesy of Zach, Alex, Noah, Danny, Jacob and Parker. A complete team effort, great job Canadiens!
