Great Comeback
We started the playoffs this morning versus our biggest rivals team orange flyers. The game didn't start quite like we had hoped as orange jumped out to a 4 to 0 lead after the first period. Then something amazing happened as the boys woke up and went on to score six unanswered goals. Orange led by Countryman made a quick push to get back into the game. Our boys shot right back another two goals to put the game to rest. Derek Walker was there when we needed him most making timely saves.
Team scoring leaders were Owen Fisher with 4 points, Dom St Amand and Kaleb Wilson with 3 each, Zack Chevalier with 2 and JP Lemak, Brady Marks, Ty French, Aidan Davidson and the boy who got the scoring going Jacob Fenn all chipped in with a point each. Player of the game honours went to Brady Marks for his awesome defensive play and beauty end to end goal. I am mighty proud of the way the boys played today and hope we can carry this on through the playoffs.
