The Kent Minor Bantam Cobras captured 2 wins and had 1 loss in a busy pre-Christmas schedule this past weekend.
On Friday night the team fell to the hands of the Lasalle Sabres 3-2. The Cobra goal scorers were Martin Boughner and Aiden Peel. Assists went to Adam Ross and Zach Mackinlay-Hultgren. Owen Lemieux was the losing netminder.
On Saturday the Amherstburg Stars came to town. The Cobras had a quality offensive day racking up a 6-2 victory. Cole Tetreault and Ian Campbell led the team scoring with G(2) A(1) each. Other scoring went to Caleb Tryon G(1) A(1), Notah Hopkins G(1) A(1), Aidan Fitzmorris A(2), Tadhg Copeland A(2), Adam Ross A(2), Will McCracken A(1), and Zach McKinlay-Hultgren A(1). Connor O’Donohue was the winning goalie.
On Sunday the Cobras added another Bluewater victory against Erie North Shore Storm by a score of 4-1. Team scoring came from Caleb Tryon G(1) A(1), Ian Campbell G(1), Zach Mackinlay-Hultgren G(1), Cole Tetreault G(1), Caley Whiteye A(1), and Martin Boughner A(1).
Owen Lemieux captured the win in net.
The Cobras will not see action until the new year.
