Peewee AE Bluewater Champions
Saturday March 30th marked the close of the 2018/19 Peewee Cobras season which culminated in a 7-6 overtime win. Scoring opened up in the 1st period just past the 5 minute mark with the Cobras scoring 1st. With 3 periods of back and forth play and 2 late goals in the 3rd by Belle River we were destined for sudden death overtime. The overtime period started with 4 on 3 Belle River advantage. After killing off a penalty and with just over 2 minutes of overtime elapsed the Cobras were victorious. Saturday marked the apex of the season and everything was left on the ice. Each player harnessed everything that they were taught this season and came on top with the well-deserved victory.
