Welcome to the U12A tryouts for the 2024-2025 Hockey Season! “A” tryouts will occur between April 29 and May 5th.
I am looking forward to a competitive tryout where the kids can showcase their skills and earn a spot on the squad. I am looking for players and goalies who are team-centered, competitive, skilled and ready to learn more about the game.
As always, neck guards and mouth guards are required. Players should bring their own water bottles.
At U12A, we are permitted to carry 3 NRP players. These players will need to obtain an NRP form from their home centre’s VP of travel before they are permitted to tryout. I believe this is done electronically.
Prior to cuts being made, all players are guaranteed 2 skates.
Tryout Dates/Times/Locations are as follows:
Monday April 29th at 5:30 PM - Dresden Arena
Thursday May 2nd at 6:15 PM - Thames Campus Arena
Saturday May 4th at 3:30 PM - Game vs Talbot Trail - Thames Campus Arena
Sunday May 5th at 3:30 PM - Game @ Talbot Trail - Essex Arena
Players are asked to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to their tryout times.
