KMHA Play off rules 2015-2016
Play off format
|
Total points overall of the round robin play.
|
|
|
|
2 point for a win
|
|
|
|
|
|
1 point for a tie
|
|
|
|
|
|
no overtime in case of a tie game will end in a tie.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
1 x 30 second time out will be allowed for each team during a game
|
|
|
Note: time out CANNOT be called with 3 minutes or less to curfew time!
|
|
|
This will prevent teams from using time outs as a way to finish game by time out
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
If teams are tied then the team with the most win's overall will win.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
If still tied, then head to head play with the winning team being the winner.
If the game was tied, then we move to lowest GFA.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The team with the lowest Goals Against Average.
|
|
|
Maximum of 5 goals for or against in any one game
|
|
|
- i.e.: game ends 8-2 would result in only +5 for winning team and only -5 for losing team
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
If still tied a playoff game will be scheduled for the next possible date between the two teams.
