Respect in Sport - Parent Program (Kent Minor Hockey Association)

PrintRespect in Sport - Parent Program

In an ongoing effort to foster a safe and enjoyable environment for our athletes in our great game, the OMHA has implementing a plan to ensure the OMHA is a complete Respect integrated organization.

At least one parent or guardian of each player registered in the OMHA will be required to complete the online Respect in Sport Parent Education Program as a condition of their child’s participation.

TekSavvy Solutions, a proud partner with the Kent Minor Hockey Association, encourages the parents of all players participating in the KMHA hockey program to complete the Respect in Sport Parent Education Program that has been implemented by the OMHA.

Together, let’s all help assert proper parent behaviours to create a more rewarding, safe and respectful environment for all parties involved.

Kent Minor Hockey Association has mandated this program as part of the registration process and must be completed by one parent or guardian prior registering your child.

This program is required by only one parent or guardian and will require a fee of $12; paid directly by the parent or guardian once registered through the program. Instructions and links to the Respect in Sport Program can be found below.

If you have any questions please direct them to [email protected] or any other KMHA Executive member.

Thank you for your commitment to the safety, enjoyment and success of your child, and all OMHA participants.
