I want to thank all the players that attended tryouts, I truly do, good kids who have made player releases very hard.  There will be players who don't make this team who are as strong as players that did, who will be a big assets to the teams they find themselves on, but roster limitations only allow for so many spots. Like previously said, I think with players needing to isolate we will be using lots of AP's, we will be in contact to fill those spots.  I will be out to watch lots of hockey this season to get a better idea of the U12 player pool for next season. I would like to take this time to thank everyone for attending tryouts so far.  I see a large pool of players who could play at this level, where the gap in skill for many players is very small.  This makes player releases difficult for a coach.  For those who are not continuing to Fridays tryouts, please work hard on whatever team you land on.  Trust me you will still have fun.  I will be signing AP's for the season, and due to players needing to self isolate due to covid, I can see the need for AP players being high this year. Tryouts will progress tomorrow with a Blue Vs Black game.  There will be some releases after the game so bring your best effort. In tomorrows game players may be asked to try other positions if the coaching staff feels the players skill set may be better suited for a different role. We will handout jerseys for this game so leave the tryout jersey you received on Saturday at home.  Remember to bring a water bottle, mouth guards must be worn, and to check for all your equipment before leaving for the rink The teams are as follows:

I want to first take the time to thank everyone for a good 1st tryout.   The coaches and I already can see some tough choices that will need to be made as tryouts progress.  This is extremely true in regards to NRP players, as we are only allowed 3, we have more than that in camp, who could easily play at this level and help improve this team.
