On April 7, 2020 our Executive Board met, by Skype, in regards to the ongoing hope to keep everyone aware of the current situation.
Since all hockey operations have been cancelled by order of OMHA and the Ontario Government, the Board felt it was still necessary to complete its responsibilities and prepare for next season, whenever that might be.
A motion was brought forward that our AGM will be held within 90 days after the health restricting orders are suspended by the Province.
The AGM will take place and all normal activities will occur. Elections, year-end reports, KMHA financial statements and awards will be announced.
The present Board of Directors, including elected and appointed positions have agreed to continue in their respective roles till such time as the AGM is held.
A message has been sent to all Travel Teams regarding their financial year-end obligations and the return of the iPads.
All equipment will remain with the coaching staff till such time as our managers are safely able to collect and store same. This will include House League, Travel, Select and Local League.
Registration and travel tryouts will be announced at a later date when more information is learned.
The Executive Board will hold another Skype meeting in mid-May and hopefully be able to provide more information at that time.
Until then, be safe.
