Registration: Team Selection Clarification
Submitted By Martin Steele on Monday, August 31, 2020
In order to resolve the confusion regarding 'Team Selection" the following message is for your information: Travel players will be separated from House and Local League Teams. KMHA feels that mixing House/Local League players and Travel players will only add to the frustration of this very difficult year.

We will do everything possible to select teams with the same skill levels. The only variable to the selection process will be the number of players that register. In the event that a small group of AA players in a division register, AE kids will be added to the mix.
Travel coaches have already been selected earlier this year in February and early March, prior to the Covid shutdown. These coaches were selected because of their past experience in our Travel system.

We all agree that this season will be difficult and will not look like anything in the past. Several issues such as Health and Safety, Provincial Emergency Orders, OMHA and OHF guidelines, availability of ice, and total number of players registering play important roles in our final programming. KMHA will attempt to provide a program that is value driven, fun, and safe for all of our participants.

See you on the ice.

Carl Herder
KMHA President
