KMHA return to play update
Submitted By Martin Steele on Saturday, October 3, 2020
As indicated in our earlier message of this week KMHA is now providing our membership with the Return to Play Plan and Protocols as well as the COVID-19 Screening and Waiver Form.

The Return to Play Plans and Protocols deal with the process for everyone to follow regarding entry and exit at the arenas.
As a very brief overview of this document, which can be located on our Website under Forms, it describes each person's responsibilities, issue of hygiene, physical distancing, guidelines for dressing and washrooms (showers are not permitted) each and every person must wear a face mask, players will be advised when they can remove their mask just prior to putting on their helmets and going on the ice.
Skaters and parents are requested to be at the arena 25-30 minutes prior to their ice time. The coaching staff will require each parent to sign the OHF Session Participation Tracking Form. This form will be provided by the coaching staff. Only one parent will be allowed to enter the arena.
Each parent must also provide a signed copy of the COVID-19 Screening and Waiver Form. This form can also be found on our Website, Kent Minor Hockey Association, home page under Forms.
This Waiver Form must be presented each time your child attends a session on ice.
Parents are reminded no food or drinks are allowed in the arena. and each child is requested to bring a water bottle clearly marked with their name.
KMHA is attempting to provide an environment that is safe and enjoyable for each person.
It is our hope in the very near future the Screening documents will be replaced by a web based form and an application on your cell phone.
