OMHA held its meeting on Saturday April 29th and the motion was approved for Kent Minor Hockey along with Belle River Minor Hockey for reclassification to ‘A’.This decision has moved very fast over the last week with the intent of allowing our Association to create an enjoyable environment while being competitive with other centers in the province.
The Bluewater League will not change and we will continue to play a balanced season amongst all the associations.
LaSalle will remain the only AA centre with all other associations categorized ‘A’.

Will this change the tryout schedule?
No, tryouts will start May 2nd and will continue as scheduled – All tryout schedules are posted on KMHA website
Can I tryout out for another AA center?
Yes, if you are interested you can request a Non-Resident Passport (NRP) card to try out for LaSalle (AA).
