GameSheet Scholarship
GameSheet is proud to support those that help to make the game of hockey what it is. Young scorekeepers and referees spend tireless hours working in cold arenas. The GameSheet Scholarship is a one-time award of $1000, given out to 4 deserving students who will be continuing their education in September following their graduation from High School.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Complete the application form, (the link is below) and provide a letter of recommendation from an individual that can attest to your work as a referee or scorekeeper. This could include your employer, a league or association representative or a teacher.

This reference letter should address your work ethic and other personal qualities that would make you a good candidate for this scholarship. What has made you an outstanding referee or scorekeeper, and an invaluable part of the game.

Applications are reviewed by the GameSheet Scholarship Committee and the recipients are announced in July. Applicants are evaluated based on their personal letter, reference letters, and application form equally.

The application deadline for students entering post-secondary schools in September 2024 is June 30th, 2024.

The GameSheet Scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit and does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, gender, religion, national origin or other.
