Bantam AE Cobras Advance to OHMA Finals
Submitted By Martin Steele on Saturday, March 11, 2017
The Kent Teksavvy Cobras Bantam AE team has advanced to the OMHA finals vs the Brampton 45s. The series kicks off Saturday, March 11th at 5:30 pm at Thames Campus Arena. Come out to show your support for this great accomplishment from a local team.

The Cobra's were faced with clinching the series in LaSalle and came away with a 3-0 victory in front of a packed house.

The team battled adversity, and injuries on their way to a birth in the finals. The boys began this journey in August by completing weeks of dry-land training before even hitting the ice.  The goal right from the laps in the school yard, has been to "raise a banner".  After going undefeated in the regular season, and losing only 3 games in 16 playdown games the team has reached their goal.  An overall record of 36-9-9 is a record to be proud of.  Now the team is faced with it's toughest 3 wins still remaining.  Striving to bring an OMHA Playdown Championship and the Ron Smith Trophy back to Kent.

The Cobras now face Brampton in the finals. Way to go Cobras!!!!
