Volunteers Needed
Submitted By Martin Steele on Tuesday, April 4, 2017
Message from the V.P. of House League.....  A special thanks to the coaches, trainers, convenors, on-ice volunteers, etc. and to the KMHA board for making the 2016-17 season success.

Without these unsung heroes, these dedicated people volunteering with the Kent Minor Hockey Association, days like today would not be possible.  Please take a moment and let them know how much you appreciate them and all the hard work they have put forth.

“Volunteers
are the most important resource community organizations have. The ability of people to work willingly together for the betterment of their community and themselves is a valuable resource.”

So why volunteer?
Only you can truly answer that.

Maybe you will enjoy the experience more with your child if you are part of the experience?

Maybe you want to give back to the community in which you live?

Maybe it is a Pay-It-Forward moment for you to thank the coaches in your past for their dedication?

Maybe you just love the game?

Maybe you want to be part of the game and not sit on the sidelines?

Maybe you have the skills, either as a player or the organization skills that can help make the KMHA a better association?

Maybe
, but I can’t answer that for you.  So why do I volunteer?  All the above!

The Kent Minor Hockey Association is looking for volunteers like yourself.

We are looking for coaches and trainers.  We are looking for convenors and on ice volunteers.  If you are interested in helping us with another successful season, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Click here to download the 2017-18 House League/Local League Coaching Application.  If interested in being a convenor for the 2017-18 season, please contact me as soon as possible or email a board member.

Finally, again I have to say THANK YOU to everyone for a great season.

I can’t wait to do it again!  See you on the ice!

Sincerely,

Mike Hendrickson
