Home & Home Weekend Starts With a Win
After two recent ties and a tight game again the Kent Atom AE Cobras came away with a hard fought 2-1 win vs Belle River in a road game Nov. 24th. Briden Gebal tied the score up in the first with assists coming from Julian Verleye and Shaun Glover. A spectacular toe save in the dying minutes of the third period by Cameron Lynds as well as a strong performance by the defence led by Shaun Glover kept Chatham in the game. A late third period goal scored by Ryan Tremblay assisted by Simon Coelho and Devyn Doucet helped clinch Chatham's first win against Belle River this season. The home and home weekend continues tomorrow morning with the puck dropping at Thames Campus Arena at 11:30am.
