Novice Major A, 2012-2013, REP (Kent Minor Hockey Association)

The Teksavvy Cobra's major novice A team had a great start to the Bluewater playoffs with a 6-3 win against the Southpoint Capitals. Trent Stephenson scored 4 goals and an assist, Ben Robertson and Hanhee Lee each scored with Brenna Dittmer, Noah Bright, Rorey Elson, Corbin Koole and Alex Chickowski each getting an assist. Garrett Drew and Tevin Kelly shared the win in net.

This weekend proved to be an excellent team building weekend for the Major Novice A Teksavvy Cobra's.  The Cobra's participated in the Thanksgiving Classic Turkey Tournament in Warren, Michigan going 4 and 0 in round robin play.  The team showed great sportsmanship and team effort throughout the weekend.  The Cobra's met a tough team from Chicago in the final game and were able to pull out the win, bringing the trophy home to Canada. The whole team played great during the tournament and deserved the championship. 

The Major Novice A team played a great exhibition game against Dresden on November 18th. Declan Waddick had 2 goals and 2 assists, Rorey Elson had 1 goal and 2 assists, Trent Stephenson had 2 goals and Noah Bright had a goal. Tevin Kelly and Garrett Drew shared the win in net. 

The Teksavvy Cobra's Major Novice A team finished the weekend with a tough 3-2 loss against the Amherstburg Stars. With great effort and determination they battled late to make it a one goal game. The entire team played a great game. Goal scorers were Ben Robertson and Chace Pretty with assists by Noah Bright, Trent Stephenson and David MacDonald.

On Friday, October 19th the Major Novice A team beat Erie North Shore Storm 5-4.  Ben Robertson had 2 goals, Declan Waddick had a goal and an assist, and Rorey Elson and Trent Stephenson each had a goal.  Tevin Kelly took the win in net.
