Cobras Earn Weekend Split
Kent Teksavvy Atom AE Cobras split a double header with the Erie Northshore Storm this weekend in the Bluewater Hockey League playoffs. The Cobras were defeated 5-4 in Saturday's early curfewed road game with 7:22 still left to play on the clock. They took the win 3-2 at home on Sunday earning them a spot in the semi-finals.
Cameron Knotek scored twice, with Dylan Holly and Devyn Doucet each netting one in the loss. Assists went to Josh Balan, Brayden Bright, Simon Coelho, Ryan Tremblay and Holly.
For the win Cameron Lynds played well in net with goals going to Devyn Doucet, Briden Gebal and Shaun Glover. Tanner Trahan, Cameron Duquette, Ryan Tremblay and Cameron Knotek assisted. The defencemen all worked hard holding Erie off in the third period.
