The Kent Cobras Peewee AE team had lots of excitement this past weekend. Coming out of the weekend with 2 well deserved wins against Windsor and 1st Place Belle River, the team found some time to visit Roger's Hometown Hockey.
This weekend the team had some special experiences starting with a 30 minute private viewing of the Stanley Cup. This was a chance for the team to get up close and personal with the cup; hugging, posing and even kissing the cup.

The team was also selected to be part of the jersey unveiling and were on stage Saturday afternoon proudly wearing their Cobra Jersey before unveiling the ScotiaBank Hockey Jersey.

The team got together again on Sunday to play a lively game of ball hockey at the Scotia Bank rink, needless to say the players had a great time.

To top off the weekend the team and their families were one of many teams that represented the Chatham Cobras by participating in the Parade of Champions that traveled from the Capital Theatre to the Rogers Broadcast booth, with a number of players and parents being caught on national television.
I'm sure this will a weekend everyone will remember for quite some time.
