PeeWee AE, 2018-2019, REP (Kent Minor Hockey Association)

Saturday March 30th marked the close of the 2018/19 Peewee Cobras season which culminated in a 7-6 overtime win. Scoring opened up in the 1st period just past the 5 minute mark with the Cobras scoring 1st. With 3 periods of back and forth play and 2 late goals in the 3rd by Belle River we were destined for sudden death overtime. The overtime period started with 4 on 3 Belle River advantage. Congratulations to the Peewee AE Cobras for their great performance at the Green Puck Challenge in Kalamazoo MI.  By the end of the weekend the team was able to secure Second Place in the Peewee A division coming up to against very tough competition from the Grand Rapids Griffins.

The Kent Cobras Peewee AE team had lots of excitement this past weekend.  Coming out of the weekend with 2 well deserved wins against Windsor and 1st Place Belle River, the team found some time to visit Roger's Hometown Hockey.

The Peewee AE Cobras gave back this week by participating in the Chatham Goodfellows No Child without a Christmas campaign by spending their Monday evening packing gift boxes for those less fortunate then them.
