I have coached many different travel & local league teams over the past 17 yrs, but this might have been the most fun team I had coaching. The coaching staff is so proud of you guys for leaving it all on the ice. That was an amazing championship game. You consistently gave us your hard work, dedication & respect. As your coach if I could offer any words of wisdom it would be winners never quit & quitters never win. To the parents I have never met a more supportive group & you have raised some wonderful kids. To my coaching staff a head coach is only as good as the people he surrounds himself with.To finish I would pick each & everyone of you again & go into battle again. Thanks coach Scott

Congratulations Black Attack on continuing to play inspired hockey. We have completed the round robin portion of the playoffs with a 6-0 record. We need to remain focused on the task @ hand & in the upcoming weeks our practices will be uptempo & the coaches want to work on a few bugs in our game. So the next few weeks @ practice I want to see a group of hockey players that are ready to work hard & determined to learn. Lets finish what we've started.

The message our coaching staff delivered to the kids competing in the Hockey for Hospice Tournament was to play with passion. Passion can make players do exceptional things maybe things they never thought possible. The Black Attack represented KMHA with class & distinction during their tournament run. Game #1 KMHA Black 4 Belle River 0. Game #2 KMHA Black 9 Lasalle 1. Game #3 KMHA Black 7 Riverside 1. Game #4 KMHA Black 7 Riverside 1. Championship Game Windsor 5 KMHA 3. Although we didn't come home with the championship we played with enourmous passion. We faced adversity & prevailed & at times we only had 7 skaters available. This group of hockey players have passion in spades within their little bodies.
Great job!! Coach Scott

November 23rd's game came with some phenomenal passing!! We started out the gate a little slow in the first period but as the game went on the flood gates opened.  The third period was some of the best passing between all team mates that I have seen all season and the scoreboard reflected it.  We are starting to use our defence more and more every game and the players are seeing that it is working in our favour.  We scored many goals this game and it was nice to see that the players did not over celebrate and respected their opponents.  Congratulations to David who was chosen the Golden Player of the game for making some great passes and having confidence to rush the puck.

November 9th was probably our best and most intense game so far this season facing our opponents Team Red.  The Red team came out scoring 2 goals in the first period however we continued to battle and play hard and managed to come back.  Our hard work and determination paid off and resulted in a tie.  Everyone gave everything that they had this game.  As coaches we were very proud.  It was hard to pick the Golden Player as everyone played so well.  But when Carter made the amazing glove save and stopped a breakaway that was the deciding factor.  Congratulations Carter on being chosen the Golden Player.

I may not make every game however I cannot wait to hear of the results. November 2nd's game we pulled out a win 5-2 over Harrow #6.  I was told we played great the first 2 periods however we slowed down a little in the 3rd period and Harrow popped in a couple of goals.  Remember team that we have to play the entire 25 minutes and not let up. Congratulations to Thomas who was our Golden Player of the game who got 2 goals and 1 assist!
