Christmas Brake!
The U13 AA Cobras played in the RMHA Christmas Tournament this week going 0-3-1 and finishing tied for 5th place.

The U13 AA Cobras got off to a slow start dropping a 7-2 decision to the Riverside Rangers.  Riverside scored 4 second period goals to pull away from the Cobras.  The Cobras got goals from Will Redford and Owen Bishop with assists going to Jake Corneil and Jackson Liberty.  Anderson Agar and Lukas Duquette split duties in net.

In the next game, the Cobras gave up 3 second period goals in a 4-1 loss to the Lasalle Sabres.  Jackson Liberty had the lone goal with an assist going to Dane Morris.  Lukas Duquette played a strong game in net.

In the third game, the U13 AA Cobras were tied with the Tecumseh Shoreline Eagles late into the third period but gave up three goals in the last minute in a 6-3 loss.  The Cobras got goals from Owen Bishop, Elliot Crow and Jake Corneil with assists from Heath Boyko, Carson Boundy-Pennell and Will Redford.  Lukas Duquette was solid in net.

In the finale, the U13 AA Cobras skated to a 2-2 tie with the Amherstburg Stars.  Owen Bishop and Jake Corneil each had a goal with Dane Morris and Kyrin Blonde picking up assists.  Anderson Agar played a fantastic game in net for the Cobras.

Hats off to Simon Hildebrand, Owen Debicki and Liam Vallee for strong defensive play all tournament.
