Here are your 2013-2014 Novice AE Bluewater Champions!
After a hard fought battle...
...where the spitfires scored first, we scored within seconds to make it 1-1. A few minutes later, we notched another for a 2-1 lead going into the third period. With only a few minutes left in the game, Windsor got a break and tied it 2-2. We finished regulation tied 2-2 and went into a 4-man 5 minute overtime.
We got a break and fired one low and hard, but their goalie made a huge save... we got another break away and rang it off the right post... Spitfires rushed back and broke away... only to have Tyler Harper deny him with a huge stonewalling save!
With only 2 minutes left in onvertime, Brayden Tremblay gets hold of the puck in the slot and fires it at the net... it trickles through the 5 hole for the win and the championship!!!
Whooooooooo what a nail biter... the coaching staff definitely needs a coronary berak now.
