Leafs 3 Flyers 8
The Leafs took on the Flyers today and only a few minutes into the game Sawyer opened the scoring on a nice redirect from Carter. The Flyers answered with 3 straight goals putting the Leafs down 3-1 at the end of the first.
The game was equally matched with both Kayden and the Flyers goalie turning away scoring chance after scoring chance. Midway through the second period Mitchell buried a rebound on a shot from Sawyer making it 3-2. 16 seconds later Mitchell scored his second goal of the game on a nice pass from Tyler tying up the game 3-3. The Flyers answered a couple minutes later taking a 4-3 lead into the third period. The Leafs had their chances but just could not get anything by the Flyers goalie. The Flyers scored four times in the third winning the game 8-3. Despite the loss the Leaf coaches are very proud of their teams effort today. Abbie, Owen, George, Drew, Gavin, and Elliott played solid defensively taking away many Flyer chances with their great back checking. Offensively Tyler, Kaden, Mitchell, Brett, Dakota, and Carter worked hard in the Flyers end. Mitchell picked up the game MVP for his second period heroics. Go Leafs Go
