Cobras Capture First Place
The Atom AE's completed the Bluewater OMHA round robin play in first place. They had a record of 7 wins and 1 tie.
On Monday in Belle River the Cobras eliminated the Canadians from playoff action with a 3-2 win. Team scoring came from Briden Gebal G(1), Cam Knotek G(1), NIck Martin G(1), Connor Day A(1), Kodie Gaffan A(1), Simon Coelho A(1), Tyler Pink A(1), Aiden Peel A(1), Chace Pretty A(1), Corbin Koole A(1). Garrett Drew was the winning goalie. Tevin Kelly was the Sniper player of the game.
On Tuesday, it seemed a 4th game in five days played a factor in a 1-1 tie with the Windsor Spitfires. Both Logan Miller and Garrett Drew played between the pipes. Cole Tetreault sniped a laser beam goal with 1:07 left on the clock to keep the undefeated streak alive. Bird Bird was the Sniper star of the game.
Hats off to Tiff Beaulieu, Nicole Miller, Charlene Peel and the Giant Chicker (and others) for their roles in raising over $200 in less than one day for the Canadian Cancer Society!! What a great gesture from our team. This says a lot of the character parents we have behind the scenes.
