Cobras Undefeated in Last 9
The Major Peewees kept their undefeated streak going this past weekend with a 3-3 tie against Belle River and a lopsided 9-0 win over Riverside.

It almost felt like a loss as the first place Belle River Canadiens netted a goal past Connor O’Donohue with 11.8 seconds remaining in the game to steal away the victory.  These teams are very closely matched which leaves little room for error.  Execution of all the little things from puck drop to buzzer will increase the chance of success.  Point scorers were Zach Mackinlay-Hultgren G(1) A(1), Ethan Labadie G(1), Austin Kozlof G(1), Cole Tetreault A(1), Martin Boughner A(1), Brayden Lariviere A(1), and Notah Hopkins A(1).

On Sunday Logan Miller was the sharp dressed man post-game in the lobby wearing the DTI Player of the Game blazer.  It was Stuee’s second straight shutout.  Santa delivered a bag full of offense to the Cobras in the victory over Riverside.  The offense came from Martin Boughner G(3), Brayden Lariviere G(2), Liam Johnston G(1) A(1), Aidan Fitzmorris G(1) A(1), Notah Hopkins G(1), Jeffrey Carey G(1), Adam Ross A(1), Quinn Shoemaker A(1), and Ian Campbell A(1).

Congratulations to Zach Mackinlay-Hultgren (C), Martin Boughner (A), and Aidan Fitzmorris (A) as they were voted in by coaches and peers to wear the on ice letters of leadership.  All of our players exhibit qualities of leadership on this team.  It is important that these characteristics continue to develop to make better hockey players and a better team.  Well deserved choices.

Thanks for the many laughs at the Christmas party after the game on Sunday.  The Peel family would like to wish a safe and restful holiday for all of our extended Cobra family.  Merry Christmas.

See you at the rink.
