Cobras Advance To Bluewater Semi
Over the Easter weekend the Major Peewees concluded Bluewater playoff round robin action with a 4-4 tie with the Lasalle Sabres.
This tie created a log-jam of teams tied with 9 points. After the calculators were put away, Kent settled in 3rd place. This sets up a semi-final matchup in Tecumseh which is scheduled for Thursday March 31st at 7:30.
In Lasalle Notah Hopkins scored with only 1:49 to go in the game to secure the single point needed to advance. Cole Tetreault and Ethan Labadie picked up assists on the play.
Other scoring came from Ian Campbell G(1) A(1), Jeffrey Carey G(1), Brayden Lariviere G(1), Cole Tetreault A(2), Ethan Labadie A(2) and Liam Johnston A(1).
We will be conducting our last practice of the year on Tuesday March 29th in Tilbury at 7 pm.
