Game 11 Vs. The Leafs
AND BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE!!
A full team effort and impeccable positioning lead to a very bored Williem in the net and an 8-1 Win.
Ryan led the way with a “blistering” shot from the left face off
dot in the first minute of the game. The second and third goals came from the
stick Carson
who was strongly supported by Zach and Ryan. The Leafs scored a goal shortly
after to make it 3-1. That would be all the offense that Bryson, Gabe, Sawyer, Lydia
and Colin would allow for the rest of the game. They put on a defensive clinic
which led to Williem almost falling asleep in the net. With the defensive zone
clearly covered it allowed all 3 forward lines to go to work. Max netted a goal
near the end of the 1st and hit the post a few times, Tanner had
some real good looks. Kalib finally broke in his newest stick with a top shelf
goal near the end of the second. Logan
finished the scoring with what is becoming a regular thing for him (scoring a
hat trick one period). This win wouldn’t have been possible without a full team
effort, excellent positioning by our defence and incredible back checking by
our forwards. It’s exciting to see the development of players like Ryan, Colin,
Zach, Tanner and Elliot keep up the hard work guys.
Next week we finally face the Avalanche, I can’t wait!
