A tornado has touched down in Tilbury!!
The Atom AE Cobras started off the OMHA play downs with a 6-3 victory over the Lasalle Vipers. The Tilbury Home Hardware Icehouse was rocking with playoff fever as Garrett "the tornado" Drew denied several Viper breakaways, point blank chances, and a penalty shot. Simon Coelho transitioned back to forward with an awesome 2 goal performance. Kodie Gaffan equaled Simon’s goal count by proving that driving the net for rebounds pays dividends. Corbin Koolie”O” was the defensive star of the game. Nick Martin hit the score sheet three times getting 1 goal and 2 assists and won several key faceoffs. Other team scoring came from Connor Day G(1), Chace Pretty A(2), Briden Gabel A(1), Andrew Earley A(1), Cole Tetreault A(1).
