The boys played the last round robin playoff game Saturday morning against a hungry yellow team. The boys jumped out to a quick 4 goal lead in the first. The rest of the game was a different story. Team yellow just kept chipping away at the lead until a few close calls with seconds to go in the game. Team black held on to the one goal win. Yellow was the best team on the ice today showing heart and hustle. Yellows goalie was unreal for his team. Derek Walker again made the big saves when we needed them. Team scoring was led by Dom St Amand and Aiden Venhuizen with 2 points each. Owen Fisher, Jacob Fenn, Ethan Crow, Aidan Davidson and Kaleb Wilson all chipped in with a point each. Player of the game honours went to Derek Walker.

The boys played a well matched game this morning versus a tough red wings team. It was a back forth affair until the boys surged ahead in the final ten minutes. Final score of the game was 5to3. The red wings goalie played a very strong game. Derek Walker was his usual clutch self making the big saves when we needed them most. Team scoring leaders were Dom St Amand with 2 points. Kaleb Wilson, Aiden Venhuizen, Aiden Davidson, Brady Marks and Jacob Fenn all with a point each. Player of the game honours went to Aiden Venhuizen who played a top notch game at both ends of the ice.
Pour final playoff game is next Saturday versus a solid yellow team.

The boys played a talented blue team this morning. Team blue and their goalie kept the game close through the first 2 periods as the boys held on to a slim 3 to 1 lead. The third started with a bang and carried through the remainder of the game as the boys scored 5 unanswered. Blue added a goal late as the boys finished with a big 8 to 2 win. Team scoring leaders were Dom St Amand with 6 points, Brady Marks with 3 points. Kaleb Wilson chipped in with 2 points and Jacob Fenn, Aidan Davidson, Ty French, Ethan Crow and Mike McGilvery each earned a point. Derek Walker played another solid game. Player of the game went to Zack Chevalier.

The Black Kings played a great game on Saturday morning. The boys played a good white team that played a very good defensive game anchored by goalie Ryan Hoekstra. Hoekstra made 34 saves to keep white in the game. Our boys were relentless on the forecheck and it showed as we jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Derek Walker played a strong game between the pipes earning his second shutout of the year. Team scoring was led by JP Lemak and Dom St Amand with 2 points each. Brady Marks, Aiden Venhuizen and Aiden Davidson each contributed a point each. Player of the game honours went Mike McGilvery for his great effort on the forecheck.

We started the playoffs this morning versus our biggest rivals team orange flyers. The game didn't start quite like we had hoped as orange jumped out to a 4 to 0 lead after the first period. Then something amazing happened as the boys woke up and went on to score six unanswered goals. Orange led by Countryman made a quick push to get back into the game. Our boys shot right back another two goals to put the game to rest. Derek Walker was there when we needed him most making timely saves.
